OUR MISSION IS TO HELP END OUR NATION HOMELESS VETERAN EPIDEMIC AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THEIR FAMILIES

>

The Narrow Gateway is an organization of people with a passion to help people in an emergency situation. We assist our military, veterans, families, and individuals who have become homeless without any immediate avenue of help. When the need is at its worst point and there are no other immediate options available we are here to stand in the gap.
I
n order to meet the emergency needs of our military, veterans, families and individuals we donate our time and 10 percent of our earnings each week.

We provide immediate emergency temporary housing nationwide, low income permanent housing referrals, emergency travel assistance, utility assistance, DMV fees, food, and personal care items. The amount of help we are able to give is based on the current amount of donations we have received.

Our goal is to raise money to open homes for our veterans, families, abused women and children.
Open facilities to provide physical, psychological, and spiritual therapy for our nation veterans. Assist battered women and children break the cycle of violence in their lives.
In an attempt to accomplish this, we:
1.)    Continue to offer immediate temporary housing for our veterans, their families and a confidential safe place for abused
women and their children;
2.)    Provide a supportive environment with strong emphasis on
peer and spiritual support;
3.)    Implement a self-help philosophy to enhance self-esteem
and decision-making skills;
4.)    Continue to provide accurate information, referrals, advocacy services for our veterans, their families, abused women
and their children;
5.)   Continue to provide outreach services to our homeless veterans, families and Individuals;
6.)    Provide individual, group, and family counseling;

7.)    Provide education to increase awareness, understanding and the possible end result of domestic abuse.

The Narrow Gateway was founded in response to increasing pleas to assist veterans, who are homeless due to psychological trauma, women and children due to violence.
The requests came from the victims, public, private and social service agencies.  There only are a few resources to provide immediate housing and assistance to veterans, battered women and children.

If you or some one you know has a passion to help our military, veterans, families and individuals in an emergency situation but your time is limited you can still help through The Narrow Gateway by making a weekly donation of 10 percent or of any amount you desire.

We are looking for volunteers with a passion to help our military, veterans, families and individuals nationwide. One of our initial goals is to work with volunteers in every county, city or township in the United States to meet the immediate needs of our veterans, families and individuals in an emergency situation.

Some veterans have lost the peace of mind they once had while serving to maintain peace, some have lost lungs, limbs and lives while serving to maintain life. The words veteran and homeless should never be used together in a sentence in The United States Of America. We can all do something to help those who have served. What will you do?
